Zarrin Shaikh
FOUNDER
Zarrin is the founder of Fresh Heart Project and a Consultant Cardiologist who has been on the frontline of the UK NHS since qualifying in 2001.
She spent 16 years as a junior doctor during which she gained extensive medical experience working in hospitals all over the UK.
Her PhD was funded by the British Heart Foundation and awarded by Imperial College London in 2012.
In 2017 she qualified as a consultant and worked as a Cardiologist in hospitals in Mersey and Greater London.
In 2019 she started running community cardiology clinics alongside developing the Fresh Heart Project.
She has produced health focused video interviews, podcasts and has expanded into short film.
She is currently producing the initial slate of Fresh Heart Project films.
Nigel Morgan
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
Nigel is the founder and director of Lion Mountain Entertainment Ltd and head of production for Fresh Heart Project videos.
Making his first foray into freelance video production in the early 2000s, Nigel has built an impressive production history behind him.
From writing, producing and directing short films for the festival circuit to delivering scripting services to marketing agencies to providing production and post-production support to projects for national retail chains.
Nigel prides himself on being a story-first filmmaker, working with hand-picked teams of editors, camera operators, audio recordists and more.
